Models that are currently in production are as follows:

CBM-W11 W & L Brakevan Mk 1 as built by Messrs Pickering in 1904, this had the open veranda at one end and no side doors.

CBM-W12 W & L Brakevan Mk 2 as very soon rebuilt by the Cambrian who placed a sliding side door where the central panel was, located. The veranda's were still open at this time.

CBM-W13 W & L Brakevan Mk 3 was rebuilt at some time between 1909 and 1922, the central side door was covered in and the open ends enclosed with new sliding doors. The roof had anti drip strips over the doors. * NEWS ** As of August 2025 there are two versions of the Mk 3 Brakevan, the first CBM-W13/C is a closed door version of the brakevan.
We have now also got the second version of the brakevan with open doors. This was how many photographs at the time showed the brakevan in service. This is CBM-W13/O. The customer must specify at the time of ordering as to which version you would prefer.. If non specified you will recieve the "closed door" version.

** Update ** : Included with the MkIII Brakevan kit are the following items. 1 x Pot Stove, 1 x Short Sandbox/Toolbox, 1 x Long Seat/Toolbox, 5 x Lamp Irons, Wire for the door track, 1 x Handbrake Stand, 8 x Brake shoes with support, two for each wheel and 2 x Vacuum pipes.

CBM-W15 W & L Covered van as modified by the GWR - 1922 onwards, slight changes to the brakes, handrail positions, sliding door supports and a lip on the roof over the door.

CBM-W16 W & L Cattle van as built by Messrs Pickering 1902-1922 slatted sides.

CBM-W17 W & L Cattle van as rebuilt by the GWR, filled in sides and ends.

CBM-W18 W & L Cattle van as built by the GWR in 1937 for the Vale of Rheidol line and never used, so re-gauged and sent to the W & L.. Steel underframe.

CBM-W19 W & L Timber bolster as built by Messrs Pickering with a choice of timber bolsters. Either as supplied, or as rebuilt at Oswestry works later on.

CBM-W20 GWR Timber Bolster also with interchangeable bolsters. From 1923-1946

CBM-W21 Timber Bolster W&L as rebuilt to open wagon with wooden underframe.

CBM-W22 Timber Bolster GWR as rebuilt to open wagon with steel underframe.

The price for all kits is £28.00 each except the timber bolsters which are sold as a pair (one on its own is of no use at all!) and these are £32.00 for a pair.

Postage and packaging is at cost at the time of ordering. Also specify if you want disc wheels to make those similar to the W & L, or if you want generic spoked wheels (the same size). All items come unpainted. Included are couplings (3D printed working chopper type) also blocks so you may mount other couplings of your choice such as KaDee. Also length of chain and brass etch for side chains and hooks, covered vans get a plasticard shaped roof, wire and any other parts to complete the model. The Timber Bolsters get two sets of brass castings that form the chain tensioners and a length of chain to secure the loads.

Please note - at the time of writing (12/12/24) CBM-W21 and CBM-W22 are both still on the drawing board and will not be available until fourth quarter of 2025 * Included with the Mk 3 Brakevan kit are * 1 x Pot Stove 1 x Brake Stand 8 x Brake shoes & supports 5 x Lamp Irons 1 x Long Toolbox / Seat 1 x Short Sandbox / Seat 2 x Vacuum Pipes Wire for handrails and door rails. Chopper Couplings, hooks etc on a brass etch.

Back at last water slide transfers to cover all W&L goods stock.
